AMARCO in JAPAN

Accompanied by AMARCO's Consultant Ruth R. Padilla and International Affairs Director Joann Bañaga, Chairperson and President Norma del Mundo met with Japanese officials and the directors of the Ishikawa Prefecture Nursing School and the Kanazawa Nursing School and Hospital to initiate negotiations concerning the deployment of Filipino nurses to Japan for training and employment. On this trip, AMARCO visited the Ministry of Health and the above-mentioned medical insitutions where they participated in various events including a cheerleading exhibition and a tea ceremony demonstration by Japanese nursing students.
