Candidates must hold a Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification which is relevant to the job on offer, plus references showing at least one year experience in a care environment.

The caregiver's course that many applicants hold is not considered to be sufficient alone--applicants will need on-the-job experience over a minimum period of 3 years in addition to this course.
